Reema Eqab is a first-generation Palestinian-American artist who is based in Pensacola, FL. Reema’s work serves as a reflection of her commitment to environmental sustainability and activism, as she incorporates upcycled materials and a dynamic combination of vibrant hues and eccentric patterns to convey her message. With a diverse range of skills in beaded embroidery, lino-printing, painting, cyanotype, paper-making, and upcycling fabric, she is a versatile mixed-media artist. Reema attended Pensacola State College where she earned her Associate’s degree in Fine Arts, then continued her education at the University of West Florida where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management.
