Kenneth Jordan II

Born in 1987, Kenneth Jordan II is an African -American artist and art educator in Pensacola, Florida. After receiving his B.F.A. in 2015 from the University of West Florida, Kenneth maintains a studio practice here in Pensacola, Florida. Kenneth works primarily in crayon and pushes his wax medium in a new direction within the realm of contemporary realism, exploring themes related to spirituality, the human figure, personal narrative and family. Kenneth’s drawings has been in numerous exhibitions and auctions throughout the Gulf Coast, including O What a Night! Gala in New Orleans and Taking a line for a Walk: 100 Years of Drawing and Printmaking at the Pensacola Museum of Art. Kenneth is currently preparing for a summer residency and exhibition in August at the University of West Florida.
