To celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year the Year of the Rat, welcome the Lion Dance Team from the Dieu De Buddhist Temple as our Featured Artist on Jan 17!
This performing team consists of 7 members between the ages of 14 and 20. The performers are trained in the art of Lion Dancing (lions represent luck and happiness!) and they are excited to share their tradition with you.
See the Lion Dancers and a large variety of traditional performers, fashion, art and more Friday, January 17 from 5-9 p.m. underneath hundreds of glowing red lanterns! The lion dancers will perform at 8:30 at the corner of Palafox and Romana right next to the Zarzaur Law Legal Graffiti.
These fantastic performers and cultural display is provided in part by UWF International affairs with funding provided in part by the John C. Pace Symposium Series.
