At Gallery Night Pensacola, we are proud to operate as a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching our local community through arts, culture, and connection. We are honored to partner with fellow nonprofit organizations who share in the mission of making Pensacola a vibrant and inclusive for all.
Apostolic Life UPC
We are an Apostolic Pentecostal Church located on Mobile Hwy
Bright Bridge Ministries
Since 2007, we’ve been working with Escambia County’s most vulnerable and under-resourced residents: homeless individuals and families, children living in poverty, U.S. veterans, mentally ill, former inmates, substance abusers and others in need.
Within two miles of our property, there are three homeless camps, multiple abandoned houses where groups of our clients reside, and two homeless shelters. More than 70% of our neighbors in this census tract live well below the poverty level, and live in housing that exceeds over half their income.
The needs of this population are significant, individualized and complex. Our God-centered approach offers a bridge to brighter days, empowering each person with dignity, care and acceptance to equip them for their journey toward recovery and life renewal.
We provide food programming daily and we have a 90 bed men’s shelter where we provide transitional housing for men seeking stable living from substance use disorder and homelessness.
FLORIDA PANHANDLE BREAST CANCER ASSOCIATION
The mission of the FLORIDA PANHANDLE BREAST CANCER ASSOCIATION, DBA Pensacola Breast Cancer Association (PBCA) is to raise funds for breast cancer education, screening, and diagnostic services for indigent and underinsured individuals in the Florida Panhandle.
Funds raised by PBCA are donated to local nonprofit medical centers that provide free mammograms to women—and some men—who are uninsured or underinsured.
Through a partnership with Emily Hardin, a trained mastectomy bra fitter and experienced wig fitter, PBCA has expanded its support services to include wigs and mastectomy bras. These items are provided through personal care appointments, ensuring that every woman—regardless of financial ability—leaves with the support she needs, including a wig if desired.
Through a partnership with other survivors, we connect breast cancer patients and survivors with several support groups in the local area.
Florida Public Archaeology Network
Florida Public Archaeology Network (FPAN) is a program of the University of West Florida. We are a statewide organization dedicated to connecting Floridians with their cultural resources. We have a museum in downtown Pensacola, Destination Archaeology Resource Center, provide educational programming, and facilitate volunteer opportunities.
Free Mom Hugs
Free Mom Hugs provides support for LGBTQIA+ individuals in local communities through visibility, education, and conversation. Our set up would include brochures, volunteers to provide information and, of course, hugs to anyone in need of a Mom-hug.
Stamped Film Festival
Stamped Film Festival highlights contributions of LGBTQ films & filmmakers. The festival will take place nightly on August 22-25, 2019 at the Pensacola Little Theatre.
