Gallery Night Pensacola’s July Event Caps Off a Full Month of Blues

An All-American blues & Jazz theme and featured artist Tracy Carpenter

PENSACOLA, FL – On Friday,  July 19 from 5pm-9pm followed by an after pARTy, 9pm-11pm, Gallery Night Pensacola will once again close Palafox Street (from Garden Street to Main Street) in Downtown Pensacola and provide open streets for patrons to explore and enjoy music, art, food and more.

Gallery Night Pensacola is celebrating all things “Blue” for July with a “Blues and Jazz” theme. Keeping in the spirit of celebrating red, white and blue on July 4th and the aerial artistry of our very own Blue Angels – we are also honoring America as the birthplace of the Blues and Jazz music! The Youth Music Project stage, sponsored by Stevenson Klotz, will showcase young musical talent starting at 5pm and the Vista Event Karaoke stage, sponsored by Bob Tyler Toyota, DR Horton Homes and Wild Greg’s Saloon, will get kicked off at 6:30pm. The karaoke stage will be located at the intersection of Palafox and Garden Streets.

Gallery Night Pensacola’s July featured artist is Tracy Carpenter.  Carpenter is a photographer from Pensacola, FL. She has always had an interest in photography, but her passion was fueled when she began photography classes at Pensacola State College where she recently received her AS in Photography. Tracy plans to continue her education and hopes to convey messages of emotional and social awareness through her art, using many different photographic processes to accomplish this goal. Tracy has received awards for her photography and her work has been shown in multiple galleries and published in magazines.

Gallery Night events bring “Art To The Streets” with 30 fine artists and craftsman, five food trucks, and live music venues.
